Colton Packaging, the Loughborough-based packaging specialist, has appointed Laura Kalnina, Hayden Perry and Leigh Booth as new business development managers as the firm looks to strengthen its sales team and expand its customer portfolio.
The appointments form part of Colton Packaging’s ambitious growth plans. Following a move to a new facility in 2019, the team has embarked on an extensive warehouse expansion project to increase the footprint of its Leicestershire headquarters to over 65,000 square feet, as well as a recent digital upgrade of its warehouse systems.
Laura Kalnina will be based in Desford with a sales focus on the East Midlands. Bringing five years’ experience of sales and stock control within the packaging film and contract packaging industry, she will be responsible for developing new client relationships while nurturing existing clients. As well as supporting new product development, Laura will ensure that all clients receive the excellent customer service they have become accustomed to from Colton.
Hayden Perry joined Colton in May 2022 and is based in Leicester Forest East, focusing on the South Leicestershire and Northamptonshire region. With seven years’ experience in sales in the foam, Hayden is responsible for retaining existing customers and expanding business across the East Midlands, again with a focus on excellent service.
Nottingham-based Leigh Booth brings over 20 years’ experience within the packaging industry, including account management and design roles. He will be responsible for developing customer relationships across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, sourcing new business and developing accounts.
All three new appointments will report into Colton Packaging Director Duncan Smith.
